Raising the Bar on Patient Financial Advocacy

Providing a holistic experience for patients means going beyond traditional methods to ensure financial coverage. A greater level of patient financial support has become more critical in an ever-changing environment. Traditional means of advocacy and care have pivoted in many health systems to meet the new normal. This session will discuss how Elevate Patient Financial Solutions® has raised the bar to provide a new level of patient advocacy to meet the challenges of the modern-day patient experience, including leveraging AI in patient screening and communications.

• Discuss best practices in patient financial care to optimize the patient experience and improve revenue recovery.
• Understand strategies to reach and screen more patients for advocacy programs using omnichannel communications and other initiatives that leverage AI.
• Explore ways to take advantage of all patient assistance programs available within your community.

Godlee Davis, ADR, Regional President, Elevate Patient Financial Solutions

Godlee Davis serves as Regional President of Eligibility Services for Elevate Patient Financial Solutions®, a trusted revenue cycle partner to hospitals & health systems nationwide. Godlee has been engaged in healthcare social advocacy for over 25 years, with 15+ years of Medical Assistance Eligibility experience and 20+ years of experience with Social Security Disability Advocacy. As former President & CEO of DECO Recovery Management (now ElevatePFS), Godlee led the corporate vision and growth strategy and oversaw all operations. Her formal education was received at The Johns Hopkins University, and she holds the distinction of Accredited Disability Representative (ADR), a designation reserved for consummate Disability Advocacy professionals. Godlee has participated on many collaboratives with CMS, DHHS, DHR, SSA, and other social advocacy groups to evaluate and improve Eligibility Determination Processes for Medical Assistance and has served on transition teams for state agency officials.
